Shadoyan brand was founded in 1999 in Syria by fashion designer Kevork Shadoyan. Since 2012 the brand started operating in Armenia. The most popular collection is the Renaissance dedicated to the 100th year of remembrance of the Armenian Genocide. At Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 Shadoyan is presenting its eastern style Back To The Black collection with lace elements standing out by handmade work.
The brand was started in late 2015 by architectural and fashion designer Vicken Derderian after leaving his position on the BCBG Runway Design team. In 2016, he decided to collaborate with former Academy of Art University Graduate School classmate and BCBG coworker Kyung Hwa Kim. The brand creates luxury based clothing using high standards of construction and blending old and new world techniques. The brand’s design mantra is “Our fashion is a more intimate architecture of the body”. At Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 Vicken Derderian is presenting a collection that initially is about women in flight. The designers did not want the collection to just portray literal elements of flight, they wanted to inspire and be inspired by women who break the proverbial “glass ceiling.”
BalMari was founded by fashion designer Marine Balasanyan in 2015. BalMari’s success started right after Oriflame Fashion Night 2016 which was followed by project proposals. Inspiration for Marine Balasanyan is travelling, the world around and everything that is visible and perceptible, emotions that she gets from books, movies and the music. At Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 BalMari is presenting Struggle: Black vs White collection inspired from early 21th century fashion trends: from casual clothes to elegant dresses and all in black & white, reflecting the simplicity of a woman. And despite the ever-evolving fashion, the world dictates its complex and modern requirements, but one thing is undeniable- struggle of black and white is eternal.
In 2015 Anna Hakobyan realizes her childhood dreamsetting up her own fashion brand. At Oriflame Fashion Night 2016 she was in the Top Ten of Young Fashion Designers with her Glacial Sunset collection. At Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 Anna Hakobyan is presenting Louvre In Love collection inspired by the Louvre with its unique beauty and elegance. Anna's life slogan is “Do any job with great love”. The Louvre In Love collection reflects Anna’s love and passion towards her profession and life.
Anes Fashion was founded by fashion designer Anushik Saroyan in 2015 in Gyumri. Her colorful and elegant dresses are inspired by nature. Up to now, Anushik Saroyan has created two collections: Next (Fashion of the future) and Scattered Flowers (wedding dresses). At Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 Anes Fashion is presenting All About Sky collection that includes evening and cocktail dresses made of velvet fabrics with embroidery and stones. The source of her inspiration is the heaven.
The start of the biggest fashion event of the year will be given through the runway of Oriflame Fashion Award’s first participants. Popular and beloved Armenian fashion designers Vahan Khachatryan and Kevork Shadoyan to present their new collections as well. The first day of Oriflame Fashion Weekend 2017 will end up with runaways of famous fashion designers from abroad: Vicken Derderian (USA), Armine Ohanyan (France) and Lasha Jokhadze (Georgia)

Since 2014 Oriflame Fashion Weekend unique project of “Oriflame Armenia” company has become an exceptional platform for Armenian designers to present their collections and new ideas to the broad public. The project consists of shows and collection presentations. Armenian already famous, well-known designers, as well as designers, who took part in the previous fashion shows organized within the framework of the project, participate in these shows.
This is the second year that Oriflame Fashion Weekend involves also a contest, in which beginner designers participate and have an opportunity to present their collections.
